Blake Classic Annual All-School Fundraiser at Blake Ice Arena
The Blake Classic Annual All-School Fundraiser had a Prom Night theme and decorations, the Rockin’ Hollywood band, promo attire and a live auction. The event at Blake Ice Arena for 600 guests featured a dinner menu of Steak Diane with demi-glace and sautéed forest Mushrooms, roasted Atlantic salmon stuffed with mascarpone and spinach and chive duchess potatoes, carrots and green bean batons, grilled portobello mushrooms and roasted spring vegetable risotto. The menu also included Montrachet cheese crusted in toasted sesame seeds over organic greens with fresh raspberries, crispy Maui onions and honey tangerine vinaigrette, butler-passed appetizers, a signature Moody Blue drink, and a dessert buffet. The event raised funds for the Blake School Three A’s – Athletics, Academics & Arts and was hailed a success by the school’s fundraising committee members.
